Normal Map Help
Hi, I have been having these errors in my normal map when I use decimation in Zbrush and bake. I don't know if its the triangulation or the distance from the surface to the high poly mesh. (it is a rock) Here is the UV template The Normal Map with the errors circled -
ZBrush brush question
Heyho, anybody knows how can I sculpt "depending" on the surface? Usually my brush works depending on the camera(just a circle which affects everything in it). In many vids I saw that their brush was "following" the surface. How/where can I enable this? Thanks in advance! -
Bend a mesh inward with rotation?
Hello, :) I would like to know: how can I apply any kind of modifiers or whatever, that can bend a mesh inward following a circle spline please ? I already tested Bend and twist but nothing solved my problems. Thanks for your help. I'm making a tire actually. i'm adding a photo for you to understand. -

Ill give that a try, I'd basically just isolated the polygroups like you mentioned and threw a couple passes of polish crisp edges (hollow circle) an then cleaned up with a small polish on the whole subtool. Should of known that was too easy haha. -

You are stucked in a phase. you can delete a retopo line to go back and continue ! hold down alt and click on a line to delete. now you are out of this situation. or you can delete this red or green circle with alt click too. -

Ok so I made one smoothing group per UV island using textools. Rendered it in marmoset and this is the result: it's slowly getting a little better, still some issues (ive circled them) But overall I am liking this :D -

Okay! Looking great in my opinion. Maybe one detail could be improved because it differs from the same pattern that exist in other parts of the gun. I've circled the zone in red in the picture attached. Are you going to texture your model? -
Re: Maya : Rotate pivot point problem
Hold "d" with the tool active, there is a little circle that can be clicked to toggle that behavior. Or, with the modeling toolkit manipulator(s), those can be reset in the marking menus for each tool (hold w,e,r + left click), it's under "align along".
