Hey hows everyone doing, I am creating a XV88 set in the world of war hammer 40k. Part of the tau race. I plan on using this model along with my chaos marine model to put to together some still images to boost my portfolio. Please let me know what you think of the early stages of the XV88
Hi, making some props for a friend's game and I'm new to crunchin' the polys. The poly limits for each item was 200-femur, 400-axe, and 210-doll so I managed to meet the restrictions for each model, but it was kind of tough. Any advice on cutting corners or some mistakes I made would be nice, thanks.
I can't wait to play this. Don't have the money right now, but soon I will. Loving the style, loving the customizations, love LOVE the setting, and level art. Damnit, why can't I get a paycheck like right now? rv_el, that link is 404'd.
I hear somewhere that this movie has taken like 400 million to make so far. How are they going to make that kind of money back. If this flops It could bring the studio down with it. That being said I can't wait to see it love the direction they went with the cg. :)
it took 1couple of weeks I in total i think. It seems deserted from the top view, but i'am not sure if ill use that image at all. i was thinking of putting some fishing boats but i had to pass on another thing.. the polycount is around 400 000
Realistically, we are unable to sell those 2080tis for more than 400 $. I slowly came to this conclusion. Although as far as I can see, store prices have not changed so far. I guess it will happen when the new gen actually comes out.
While we wait, check out: X-3 http://store.steampowered.com/sub/12985/ (clocked in well over 400+ hours into this game, tons of mods and user generated content)(slight learning curve, but worth it) [ame] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PKEcn1S5Ug[/ame]
Really amazing work wake. I love the "cauliflower ear" lady and the 40k inspired stuff. Gives me a boost to keep going and improving my work. :) Out of interest have you studied anywhere for anything games or art related? Or are you self taught?
The basic Unity license for iOS and Android is now free (down from $400/platform) as of today. This makes me feel pretty good, although it's still a bit tough to find things to make in Unity that don't need the features from the Pro version (e.g. occlusion).
