Nice looking concept, right now though it doesn't feel like a creep "den" in your last image. The jungle creeps are generally partially enclosed to create that den like feel. I like the thematic your going for though :)
lysaara: I can't speak for Korean game devs but I've had experience with Chinese devs and they really don't like to deviate from the scantily clad women template - they kept equating modest clothing and realistic breast sizes as ugly.
I heard some indie devs discussing this recently, basically by Sept 30th you must display your physical mailing address on your app page, no P.O. Boxes allowed. This is going to be a disaster. Google Play's Address Policy: Bad for Indie Devs, Bad for Android
Suspended work on this for a bit due to working on a test piece applying for an indie dev team :D Plus new job irl and stuff. You inspired me to apply for the dev team add3r :) Jack, I like that idea, it could work.
I think Quixel is good for look dev, but I prefer Substance for final stuff. Actually Substance is just as good at look dev too. I think it all boils down to how much you actually like working in Photoshop.
I believe Gnomon Workshop has probably the highest concentration of look-dev video tutorials of any education sites I've seen. Look-dev = the general art theories about setting up your scene to make it look nice
"Create a ow-poly fully textured model of a unique Turret or Inhibitor and a Creep Den" Just to make sure I understand properly - I can make either the Turret or the Inhibitor but I MUST make the Creep Den no matter what?
This is sort of being done in Crytek UK right now. Dev team has walked out because they are not being payed which leaves the Management with no progress on Homefront their product if you will. I guess they will be more hesitant to treat their devs like this again.
its ahrd to choose but i'd really like to see something like BAMA or night city from neuromancer. some realy old fashioned cyberpunk. deus ex/deus ex the invisible war was close at times but needed to be push further
Just saw this on kotaku http://kotaku.com/5633985/memorial-fund-started-for-family-of-dev-killed-in-car-crashmemorial-fund-started-for-family-of-dev-killed-in-car-crash Heartfelt sympathies to his wife and his family.
