Yeah, blender's snapping function can sometimes be a little tricky so wondering if you tried snap to vertex whilst toggle X-ray to on or edge/vertex slide? (shortcut G x2) Personally I've found most of the time works when an asymmetrical edge doesn't align as expected.
First post here! Hi everyone :) I have been working on recreating Briar' (a character from League of Legend) weapon at the best of my -limited- capabilities. This is the main reference I used: And here is my prop both in unlit and lit mode from substance painter, everything stock with "Studio Tomoco" environment: Other…
This is super cute! I think if you were going to go unlit for final presentation, I would push the contrast a little more in the colour but it looks great in the lit version
I think you could lower his hairline a bit. Also make his nose a little less broader and the roof of the nostrils more slanting downwards. Thicken his left lower eyelid and sculpt in the shape of his corneas. I think his upper eyelids might have to come down a bit on the sides closest to his cheeks (the lateral side? not…
Hey Polycount :) After spending a healthy amount of time procrastination on Mordhau, I've come back to my project to work on some lighting changes and some fabrics. I've jumped into Marvelous designer for the tents, and with some help from my friend Dom Marriott , I've been able to put together a tent, and then go on to…
Thanks so much for the amazing detailed critique guys, it really helped me out. Forehead, nose bridge, cheeks.. The eyebrows look stuck on, or fake. Dont try at this rez to paint idividual hairs. Work on getting a good…
Have to agree with @Noren , @ZacD , and @pior : both the contiguous unwrap and compound curvature of the shape are contributing to the distortion in a way that's almost unavoidable with a [tiling] texture only approach. Lot's of good advice on how to proceed with different approaches from everyone in this thread. As far as…
