Under 1mb is golden, whether jpg or png or whatever web format floats your boat. Anim GIFs are a bit different IMO, under 3 mb seems to be OK. Though something like GIFV is better, since streaming video is generally better at preloading than stuttery GIFs. -

WTF!? The steam games page says "Pre-Load Complete: Unreleased" When I double click it brings up the countdown page, all set to 0's, with a "Launch Game" button that does nothing when I click it. How did I screw up the preload thing?! -

Yeah, no crazy mouse button switching here - just using the defaults, it works fine ! Middle finger ftw :D And it makes the back button pretty easy to reach too with the ring finger (which I personally use for relead in FPS games) -
16 bit texture problem in zbrush
Im having a weird problem with zbrush, I save out a 16 bit displacement map in PS and when I try to open it in zbrush it looks like this the coloured one is as a texture, and the other one is as an alpha Anyone know how to fix this? I already turned max preload file size to the max, and im using 4r2. -

They keep messing with the android app of Google+ though I like it now more. Before the preloading of images and stuff didnt work. Also yeah I get a tonne of tech art and polycount stuff on my stream plus the custom search feeds are awesome. -

Ahh good point. It does depend on the sounds you're making if the jaw slides forward or not. If you're making a OO shape then it slides forward, If you're making a AH shape it tends to stay toward the back. For laptops I just got a Lenovo Y500 with a SSD and 1TB HDD, dual graphics cards, 16gb ram, blah, blah, super graphics whatever stats. It boots fast and runs fast. Only bad thing is preloaded with bloatware and Win8. Otherwise I'd recommend it. Touchpad is bleh compared to Macbook touchpad too. -
