First attempt at low poly hardsurface object. Criticism Welcome
Hi guys, So I've been trying to get my foot in the 3D industry door. Realized I would probably have a much better chance if I transitioned from characters to environment/prop art. so I took one of my old models made it low poly and textured it in substance. Don't play with MacReady. His perk ruins your game. It's supposed to give 20% higher chance of headshots, but it actually just maxes it out at 95% no matter the gun, or the distance. At that point, I figured Id wrap the game up. but still it made the game way less challenging, (I was already specced as a stealthy sniper).… -

If you open HumanIK window it seems like you actually can define a custom rig. I've never done it but it's worth a shot. Maybe theres some tutorial on youtube or something. HEngine is a head less Houdini. It can execute tools created in Houdini with interface, but you cannot create new ones with it. hehe, well building a skeleton takes so little time, that its beneficial, but i get confused easily during the hours that i am actually able to practice (before and after work, when its too early and im a zombie, or its too late and im too tired). so learning how to use IK/FK solvers during those periods is too much =/… -
