What kind of secondary reflection is better for such type of material? "newton rings" or maybe "mirror"? When i apply this effect i should tweak reflection and roghness again. :( Anyway i should do something with its specularity. Forgot to remove newton rings from black areas. Waiting for your ideas. -

You need a few more edge loops in the wing to smooth stuff out when you animate it. You are turning the wing tip at 90 degrees to the rest of the structure, so with that extreme a bend stuff will get kinked, try to adjust it along the z axis some, so that it doesn't fold onto itself as much. -

its a small thing, but you might want to give the bird wings another pass. the feathers don't look right keep in mind that bird's wings have anatomy similar to the human arm dunno how much you care, but its the kind of anatomical flaw that distracts from your work's overall presentation :confounded: -
struggling with the quad draw tool in maya, specifically when retopo-ing the face

I'm using Maya 2020 and having a few struggles with the quad draw....when i draw big polys say for the back or torso, or arms and legs i seem to be able to move the points around pretty freely to resize/reposition the quads how i want and relaxing the quads seems to work fine. I like the hooves better in all honesty, though to mee it seems like they are just hinged. If anything, looking at Diggers or JCB's you can see that anything that is hinged has some kind if piston in them to drive it. Maybe consider some tech or possibly even a piston to add some structure and reasoning behind the movement… -
