Not sure whats the question exactly but if you need to do a perfect cut add a plane sub-tool behind the bricks. scale it to be a frame you need and export as low res to bake to in Painter or hit F and grab the depth in Zbrush.

So your technique here is that you built 2 tiling textures in mudbox, and geometry in the model is what is separating the two? The top image is pretty nice. That noise is way wrong. I would seriously tone it down. I tended to overdo my normals too when I was beginning, so this is totally normal.
