Here is how I calculate my dodge + camera shake. Here is my calculating my dodge direction: Applying dodge to launch and my custom camera shake function: here is my custom camera shake function To make a camera shake asset create a blueprint with the parent class camera shake.
30 of 50 of my parents' cats think this is a really sweet sounding game. 10 of the remaining 20 cats are somewhat fearful that neutering might be involved in the storyline, and thus object. The other 10 are blind & deaf due to inbreeding, having neither read nor heard of the proposed venture, and therefore have no opinion.
to me his lower section (hips and down) look somewhat skinny compared to the rest of him. Especially with that bulky armor on top. Also, the way you modeled his knees looks like the pads would be bending as well. Maybe have them as a seperate piece that is parented to the knee joint when rigged.
I'm actually organising a bamboo fun A5 (my parents insisted that if I wanted to get a tablet that I should buy a bigger one than A6) - I do have photoshop cs and I have done a sculpture or two in blender as well as all animations in my games (linked before)
mine didnt, lol >.< (i think) i moved since i got it (christmas present of my ex^^) so maybe its flying around at my parent's house. i'll try to find something online asap i am back home, thx for your advice, fletch!
i have little knowledge of Max, but in Maya i would write a simple script that parent constrains the bones to the corresponding bones of the biped. You can then bake your animation or export it directly. This should be equally possible in Max. To have an animationrig (in this case biped) and an exportskeleton separated, is…
Thanks, what they required is that the base would be static and the top part (ie. cannon, gun) will have animation. Does unity prefer joint-based animation? Or for something simple as this I can just use curves, parent the meshes to it and animate from there? I would like to know if this approach is ok?
Nice stuff Adam. That looks absolutly great. One question, how much did it cost? Too much for a student like me? Blah, either way, my parents are making the trip down to visit me at some point this summer, I'll reccommend it to them. Thanks for sharing man.
My parents gave me it The art handle BurntKona (when I release stuff once in a blue moon): I ride a '97 Kona Lavadome. Kona is also connected with coffee, so my PC cottage is the coffee house. I love the smell of coffee.... hmm, roasted beans
What application? In Maya, use a Parent Constraint and set the targets as the scabbard and the hand - then you can keyframe the weight between each target to control what's driving it. In Max, use a Link Constraint, add the scabbard and hand as targets, and add key frame numbers then set the weight per frame.
