interesting. ok thanks for clearing that up. and yeah, the engine was not Unreal when they were working in AAA, but when I was working with them we were using Unreal and they were still applying that logic.
I am just really anxious right now with being afraid of my future due to my stupid mistakes, let's say you are an self taught artist currently at a college specialized for a field that is far away from art, for example economy. But you have been working on your portfolio for many years so you have a fairly good one. Is it…
I am a 3D Artist looking for temp work! I have worked AAA and several other indie studios. I am fast and very professional. Thanks~ Portfolio link ~ artstation.com/t3dguru-01

Was watching the GDC on uncharted 4's enviro art and it was just so inspiring to see the worlds being built and the feeling of satisfaction those people must get seeing their stuff in a aaa game
Cars in AAA games usally aren´t baked. Only small details like interior buttons or leather elements use baked normals. All parts of the car body are basically modeled.
Shameless plug! First AAA trailer I directly had a part in. weee! [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uO2h4qUNJ60"]DRAGON AGE?: INQUISITION Gameplay Trailer - The Inquisitor - YouTube[/ame]
That's because you're applying the AAA mindset to f2p games, you don't have to be a blockbuster hit to make a sustainable profit. I've been working in the f2p market for about 4 years now.
Will the session be live streamed or posted to the Allegorithmic website at a later date for those who cannot make it to GDC this year? It would be great to see how Substance was used in production by a such a big AAA studio.
