Hammered copper wouldn't usually have those rather large un-hammered areas. If it does have more space between the hammered bits, it's usually a bit more even in size whereas yours looks more organic and less man-made. It also depends on what kind of hammered copper you're going for, got a reference image? Just googling…
I've put out some new tools and resources for all ye Source Engine folk. First, for those of you who have been wishing for Source 2.0 and a new Hammer... you can really stop waiting and just use 3ds Max right now. I've been putting together a user guide for this in my spare time: Hammered to the Max: A Hammer User's Guide…

In short, those are two…
Wow, You completely missed out on War Hammer table top games by Game Workshop haven't you. It was practically War Hammer table top strategy game by Game Workshop that "brought" the idea of Warcraft RTS to Blizzard. Turning that first War Hammer tabletop game in to a video game for PC was something Blizzard really wanted to…
Looks like a good start. You're missing a few parts such as the rear sight and the hammer's rotation point. In the ref the hammer has that round bit just behind it which would be its rot point. I would also add some detail where the hammer goes through the frame to strike the bullets. While thats not exactly what ur…
I personally know an awful lot of game devs that have made a large amount of money from selling their games (most of them have not retired, because they like making games). If you look around you will see there are a lot of options out there. If you don't like the existing options, make a new one. That is what capitalism…
