Hey guys. this is a common problem for me, using Blender. I want to round off the end of this object (see red line). Is there an easy way to achieve a nice curve?
Hey. I have problem with TurboSmooth. There is no double vertexes, every vertex is welded, but still turbosmooth is not working, and what's funny that problem is not on the whole object but in several places only.
I'm afraid to make a new thread about this because the last one did not go well, but does anyone have any resources for learning about "combining" 2 different objects with different vert counts? For example, I'm about to make a pair of shoes for my character who is low poly, but the shoes area an important part of the…
Hi everyone. I was hoping someone could help me out with this object I'm trying to model. It's the cylindrical piece I've pointed out in the first pic. I really struggle with objects like these. I want it to keep its smooth cylindrical shape, but when I add edge loops it loses its roundness. I've added some pics that…
@Shinigami, I though HP objects had to be model in a way so that it is flexible. So that in the future if I were to edit the object it wouldn't cause a lot of "damage" What I'm asking is that that since edgeloops determine the shape of edges, as well as the flow of the high poly. Would the images I made above be an…
Hi guys! I'm having problems in modeling an arm bandage in Maya. I've tried using curves and extrudind, but the object randomly twists:(. Is there another way to do bandages? Example:
For the lowpoly it depends on how close you can get to the object. Normally these holes and the small gap won´t be part of the lowpoly geometry. A normalmap can be used for those details.
i'm working on a hi poly model of this object: I'm trying to figure out how to model the wings on the pot. any suggestions?? heres my progress so far on the project:
Umm was one of the ways you was thinking about, modeling some of the shapes out of a cubes and then using a bend to wrap it around the cylinder object and then using lattice to push it into the side of the mesh ?
