Oh wow, you think that these beauty shots aren't using the proper models and textures? Sorry dude, I think you'll find that everyone is using the LoD0 for their beauty shots and regarding textures, even Valve's default textures are 1k or 2k.
Thanks Tvidotto, i was wondering how people were getting some of those in game screens, that explains it. Sorry i cant help you with your zBrush question, i only use it for high poly normal map mesh sculpting :/.
Sorry for jumping in here and asking questions like a complete noob: How easy it it to create items with Max and not Maya? Obviously modelling and texturing doesn't matter. Is the tricky part when you have to paint the skinning weights? Or can that be done in Max?
Sorry if that's how my post read, I didn't mean that to you, but more to the post from Reza and some other people here lately. Just tried to sorta pick up what I thought you were trying to say.
Sorry for the double post i was not aware of the need for a moderator to approve my post and ended up doing it twice just to notice the message about said rule/politic the second time y posted. Thanks Tvidotto, and nice to read you (? :P).
@foxclover Ah its just zbrush. Probably I have cropped images to much, so its not clear. Sorry for that. Here is this step better described: http://docs.pixologic.com/user-guide/3d-modeling/modeling-basics/creating-meshes/mesh-extract/
I haven't been able to skim through the whole thread, so I'm sorry if this has been asked before... Does anyone know if there's rigs for Tegu and 'Piggyback'? And if there are, would I be able to animate them for my Games Anim showreel?
