[ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1UPMEmCqZo[/ame] A fan-made movie set in the Half-Life 2 universe. Created with a budget of only $500 and directed by The Purchase Brothers. I was going to post this in the ToAHY, but I thought it deserved its own thread. :)
You need to have the materials setup correctly with the speedtree nodes. There's several different configurations you need. If you have "create materials" checked in the speedtree import options it'll auto-create some materials that will work. After you've done this I'd look at the shaders it makes and see what they're…
At the height of the bushranging era, this rifle was already antiquated, however with a breech loaded .577 round it made it no less deadly. Game ready low poly rifle. 12,224 triangles, and one 4k texture set. Currently available for contract work.
Yup, match by name option enabled this in 5.0, but it was only 1:1 where a low poly could only have a single corresponding high poly but now a low poly can have many corresponding high poly meshes.
wow, these models are brilliant mister! They would fit nicely in the 'mobile gaming and web 3d (lowpoly)' thread ;) Looking at those models it is hard to believe they are actually 500 triangles each. Really nice work! You should create an enviroment!
500 injuries, mostly by shattered glass. I guess rushing to the window to see what the rumbling is all about, isn't a great idea if its going to be followed by an impact that shatters the window... /lowers blinds, moves mattress in front of window.
Oi Oi Oi! It's true:) Just posted over in the Low-poly Game art. It's both my first lowpoly(sticking to the below 500 quota) and the first thing I've textured! Take a look if ya give a hoot:) Blaaarg!
Beat the story, time to go huntin for stuff. I'm struggling to find the second victim or clue for the face-stealing killer. Also, anyone figured out what the series of numbers at 670 x 500 on the radio decoder is all about?
I aready have a good monitor. By the way, budget just went up to 500$ now. I don't need to do fancy renders, just animation and a bit of modeling. And yes, 64 bit windows would be really cool..
