Hey everyone. I wanted to share my latest 3d work. I am pretty much done with the modeling. Modeled in Max..rendered in Zbrush. Next step will be to add decals using a texture map and doing the shader/lighting setup. Hope you like it. :)
Hey All, Looking for C&C on my 50's Soviet Convenience Machine. Currently rendered in 3DO. Is there a way to view multiple LOD's in Quixel Suite? The decals and toilet paper need textured. Let me know what you think.
Hello folks, Here is one medieval house i made for my portfolio,i know probably sick of looking at medieval houses :D . Uses 5 - 512x512 tillable textures ,2 decals and one unique texture at same resolution. Any comments are welcomed. Cheers.
Tried to work in the feedback, started with the double barrel edge wear and then tried to change the yellow markings to red/white. Unfortunately it didn't look good (the yellow just added another color, even if it's only a few pixels and to make the red/white signs work, I would have to add additional geometry and I don't…
Ah, you know I was always wondering about checking out PS2's player studio. Thanks for the feedback @Rhinokey. I suppose I won't particularly waste any time with it if theyre not even accepting camo's..not that theres any shortage of it to begin with, and yeah - decals are kind of worthless with being so small on vehicles…
I believe this is as far as I will take the terrain for zbrush, unless anyone has suggestions on that. My plan is to take this floor into zbrush and use chipped/cracked rock alphas create a nice detailed normal. I will do the same with the pillars as well as sculpt them a bit. For the rebar coming out the top of the…
Added some scrolls, star charts, some decals on the draws and did a general reshuffle of the books for a better composition. I'm trying to tell a story about the person that owns this cabinet so I'm not sure I'm quite happy with it yet as some parts are quite bare. I'm thinking of adding a couple more props today,…
Id watch out for obvious landmark/unique style details such as the crack on the central pillar on the brick work. In the current state of the textures, its pretty obvious you are reusing this arch set over and over. I say stick with a semi cleaner version of the pillar and use decals or some sort of overlay texture on an…
Here are some images of asset progress in Marmoset Toolbag 2. Monitor - 641 tris - 1k maps Desk - 16k - temp decal sheet with baroque details Chair - 6.7k tris - 2k maps Monitor stand - from 3-6k tris depending on double or single - 512 maps I will texture up the chair (and fix whatever is happening on the wheels) and desk…
I don't believe car's normally use a baked normal map, atleast not in the traditional flavor, they are applied more like decals and the overall shape is defined using only polygons and controlling vertex normals. That will save a ton of memory and allow higher quality textures at the same time. So you don't need a…
