MightyPea, yeah not a huge fan smart filters since you have to commit all your changes into a container, that and most of the filters I want to use aren't supported in smart filters, e.g. all the lens blurs and chromatic aberration.
nice! it'd be nice to know how low the polys are :) i was thinking maybe some dripping stains on it since it looks like an old statue? but placed in reasonable areas that would contain the drip like under the chin and such. here's an example
That looks great. One thing's not clear. It's free for iOS and Android, but will the engine be free to use with full features for all platforms with iOS and Android being free to publish with as well, or will the free version only contain iOS and Android tools within it?
Ive made complex atlased enviroments that use 8 materials containing about 56 unique tiling textures with substance painter, albeit I built said enviroment in blender and UE4, so your issues may be engine specific.

Not trying to dig up day old threads, but I was at EB and they had one for 10.99, and it had two discs, I read the back and wasn't sure if the two discs in there contained the editor. Can anyone who own a copy verify that?
Maybe but I think it's more probably that for one of the update days they'll announce the winners and then release on the 12th and even more probably that they'll stick to their schedule and announce the winners on the 12th with an update containing the winners on that day or a few weeks later.
what you've done on this model is really great, but please observe that this is a forum, and it's not exactly smart to pimp a link to another forum containing your work. Post a picture instead, if you can't then at least hotlink the images from the other forum
Hi Guys, Just installed Maya 2016 for OS X and noticed that the upper menu of the software, the one that contain options such as File ,Edit,Create and etc is separated from the main window of the software, how can I attach them together? Thank you!
If parts of your mesh contain opaque geometry then you should either use the cutout rendering mode or split up your transparent and opaque elements to run on separate materials
