did any of it make it in? like the flowing water or foliage stuff? I haven't played it yet but that looked pretty sweet. and Were-bears. Damn, now that would be an awesome cartoon "Were-Bear Countdown 5, 4..."
nice! What if you try making a bit of color gradient? What I mean from this is to instead of making enterely black or grey, put a purple tone into it in a gradient style to fake a cartoon shading into it. Keep it up.
I think the crystals being so big makes it seem a little cartoon-esque, which doesn't seem to be the style you are going for. More detail I think, like this, http://webzoom.freewebs.com/mysticallinks/AMethyst%20Geode.jpg
A character I've been working on. Leader from the Mighty Ducks cartoon. I wanted to do an update on the original look. Thought it'd be fun since there's seems to be a trend happening with updating stuff from the 80's 90's.
Hi everyone ! This is a little pack of cartoon/hand painted props i've made for unity a while ago, i'm new to this but i think this is a nice way to share your work :) https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/54324
I remember always being pissed about the clash of simple flat colors for the animated characters and the oil/acryl painted static backgrounds in cartoons as a child. Second that what Noren said about games
Your characters somehow reminded me of people that would be in a cartoon like thomas the tank engine. I can just see the woman in the purple dress being at a train station haha, nice style.
not sure how to texture him, since he is a cartoon character, like his skin , do i give him human skin or what, any advice or opinions would be great fully appreciated.
I think the face is okay, but I think maybe you need to point the chin a bit more. Its hard when working off cartoons, because you lose a definate element of depth.
Calluhain : I will still suggest to redo the diffuse as of right now it gives more of a impression of the tree been made of flesh. Since the scene is cartoon style you can hand paint the texture, wood painted is not that difficult to do.
