Hello everyone, I would love feedback for this game animation. This is similar to the post I have posted in the 3D animation showcase & critiques. Someone there suggested that I post here for more comments. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khiHG_GM6sE
Hello all. My name is Daniel Carbone and I'm new to Polycount. I've got some work I'm hoping to showcase and I hope you like it. This piece I call "The Lounge". for more of my work check out https://dcarb.carbonmade.com
Well, if you end up needing more specific feedback when you get to the polishing phase, you could head over to the animation section of Polycount https://polycount.com/categories/animation-showcase-critiques
Well you should at least try and get the forms to be accurate. At least for practice and showcase purposes. It shows an ability to be accurate in your work and not gloss over specific details that the client and their customers may want replicated.
Showcasing the process video for the base bracelet file with dimensional accuracy and design for manufacture assembly considerations. Find Video here: After creating the base components in a CAD software I sculpted onto it using zbrush.
Large png's are balls... Keep the forum image sensible and link a dropbox or somesuch if you really want to showcase 4k images of your work. My grumpy old man persona will thank you for it
I 2nd that, it's amasing how quick you can knockup a high res model. Make sure you watch the camera video tutorial, it's a good showcase, and it'll have you up and running in no time.
Variety is overrated. Showcase what you do well and what you WANT to do. Too many people put in character work in their folios when it really isn't a strength and should be a focal point of their work.
Hahah I will feast on the time child's entrails ON MY TUMMY! Great work dude, with that ostrich mount it'll be a PIMP piece! I think you need to showcase the character on a lighter shade of grey however.
Hi Kuki, that might be a good idea, I guess I was going for really low poly mmo specifications. But if it turns out good it would showcase my skills better if it weren't tiled I guess. Thanks.
