Well I'm not forced to reproduce the concept exactly, right ? I don't like animal trophies and I wanted to do a sword and a shield instead ( also based on Valskin's concepts, btw ). I'm hesitating for the windows. I tried to make them dark, it doens't look as good. I'm looking for an easy way to add godrays, but in the…
New Update, thats the actual armor version, not the first of course :D I wanted to make a light armor for my Orc, but maybe I add a bit of heavy armor for the left shoulder/arm. Pretty much like the Golden Fleece in God of War, so he can use that as a shield. Also I will add fur on some parts of the armor. C & C most…
some tips:* mirror anything you can, symmetrical mirrors are the most obvious ones. * split the front shield window apart (as it has different smoothing groups anyway) * straighten more lines so you can get more out of med - low resolution textures. Esspecially for technical stuff you want to have some pixels line up with…
edit - latest Love Chris Evans portrayal as Cap in the MCU, I'm not necessarily aiming to copy one films costume perfectly... just going for the feel of the character. This is my ingame mesh, all baked and presented in Marmoset. 4k textures, 80k polys. Shield textures are still WIP, just wanted to slap something on there.…
Do some color theory studying first. then learn to paint in values (grey-scale). If you can paint a 2d canvas to accurately represent 3 dimensionality, you'll be halfway there. Then take on color. Just do a simple shield or weapon in the beginning, anything more will be more daunting. And yes, the Tyson Murphy stuff is a…
I was talking about the original a couple of days ago to my friends... absolutely loved it... spent way too many hours getting peons to become my meat shields :D Incidently, how did things with Jagex go? Just wondering as I have some of my friends going for some kind of 2nd programming test next week.
Thanks alot ^^ Rough cut planks is a great name for it, I renamed my Artstation project ^^ I worked in a very small tiling pattern, because the material is going on a viking shield and is not going to tile more than once :P What exactly should I keep in mind with texel density ?^^ This is 4096x4096. The prop has 3 udims,…
It looks amazing felicitousArtisan. Thank you immensely. I am going to redo it right now. I mean yeah i wanted more heavy knight with huge shield and sword but i like your idea more :) It reminds me of skyrim. So thank you again and i will let you know when its done (if you want of course :) ).
Hello, guys ! Here are some of my sketches for a turret design. I tried to apply Demacia architecture languages to the turret statue holding a sword or shield. Figures C and E are my favorites so far. I will refine one of these designs into final one soon. Hope you guys like it. Feel free to throw me some ideas and…
are you still accepting c&c? or is this a finished model ? your shield looks real nice...but on the other side its very...flat? some of the muscles dont make sense, espicially the one on his back to the overall shape your going for.. feel like he needs to be a ltitle bit more relaxed considering he has a big belly :O
