hello all,i was wonderin if there was a way to change the sounds in q3 models? im not a model maker(of course)but i wanted to see if it was possible to swap sound files.ie.take the taunt/death sounds from one model and put them in another model? any help would be appreciated:)
For me its just i dont trust new tech if i havnt testet it. I would need todo a new project with it. But at the moment there is no time for experiments. And on some projects the pipeline is frozen on R7. The "old" workflows are fast and stable.

It kind of looks like the teeth have been fit into the head instead of the teeth fitting the head. It hasnt really got a forehead. The forearms look a bit wierd, like its twisted or connected wrong, may just be the viewing angle.
weird have you installed .net 3.5 x64? i just seen i had compiled for x86 instead of multi platform fixed that now, but hadnt uploaded yet im going to improve the error handling a bit more
Didn't mingle as much as I would've liked as it was a bit daunting, but it was good fun! Definitely need some name tags next time I reckon. Didn't have a clue who anyone was. The room was pretty good, great location.
i've got a vertex 3 60gb that i got back in november 2011. It hasnt failed me yet, dont know if i'm just lucky or it came loaded with the latest firmware. well worth the improved speed thats for sure
HighPass is a great built in filter,lets you remove obvious lighting from textures.And overlaying a Highpass filtered image ontop of the original will make it look like and high dynamic range image.Play around with it if you havnt already :D
