I find that looking through sites like that for inspiration start to put me in a drag of a mood. I tend to spend aimless ours at the comp looking at these beautiful renders and drawings only to get me into a rut of wishing I were better. I then coloured the image with block colours becasue i wanted a simple cartoon look. I used 3 shades of colour however i still managed a realistic detailed image.
