Just wanted to quickly come back to this: [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkK7_FsJE7Q[/ame] particularly at 15 seconds in. a kryptonian who hasn't fully adapted to earths sun, butt-raping US soldiers (yes, i know they're not batman) moving faster than they can follow. more importantly, since we're limiting the…
Maybe a more "sci-fi" haircut could be better. I only saw the Iron Man movies so I don't know how Pepper is in the comic book, but maybe a real "secretary" look, with sophisticated hair and GLASSES could be really sexy. Gosh, I went on DeviantArt to look for secretaries... what a bunch of pervs ^^. Anyway here a some cool…
Whoa, thats a definate improvment over the original torso. The hands are also much better, as for being more "orcish" i'd have a go at fattening them out. From what i've seen most orc's (as if its a real creature :P) seem to have chunkier hands than we humans, also have a look at the way the hands are done for the "hulk"…
Hey. Im a Beginner jut like you, so dont take my word 100%, but from what ive seen, read, and learned over the past few month is this: 1. CPU: This is probably the most important in max. First Retopo. Still needs some fixing. At this moment it's around 34k poly leaving me some space for adding hair and small details. Unwrapped face with automatic tools and baked normals in xNormal just for test. Now time to do some fixes to polyframe and mesh itself, unwrapping and texturing. And pedestal of course =)
VelvetElvis is spot on. Even in a recent poll on polycount, there were 38% Max users and 33% Maya Users (of 342 votes). I could possibly see Autodesk advertising Maya as the goto tool for Games & Film in the future. But again that's only a relatively small slice of the cake.
Try some searches here and on other forums like CGTalk, terms like rig, hip, groin, skin, weight, etc. Here's an older one from polycount, seems to be some gems in here http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34702&highlight=rig+hip
That sounds really terrible. I've never gone through an agency before so forgive my ignorance when I ask: Do you have a higher chance of getting contracts through them than if you applied on your own? Other than them having job leads that you might not have found yourself, I wonder if it's better to apply directly when…

Hello again Polycount :) So over the past two weeks I have been learning as much as I can about rocks, never made them before and to be honest I knew there is an art to them (love looking through the Rawk thread here in Polycount, and after working on my own, I take hat off to you guys), I just didnt realise just how much…
