Blizzard apparently exports to .m3 from 3DS Max, hopefully they release some plug ins, if not people will make their own. You can easily change the attacks under Data > Weapons + If you put 2 attacks under the options, it seems to randomly switch between. Textures are stored as dds -

My personal opinion is that your only going to come close to US 100K+ , if you work for EA for many years . There is far to much competition in the USA . Blizzard is a good example . Even though they make barrels of cash they are very well known for being cheap and paying there artists as little as possible . -

Most of Blizzard games, but this one is most significant. W3, the bridge between my childhood an adulthood :) . Sadly I don't believe there will be a sequel worthy of its predecessor, if ever done. Also, my first RPG, ALbion (RIP Blue Byte). The rich alien world just blew my mind. It had substance and artistic fidelity. -

honestly, it looks great. I know for blizzard peoples, they really stress pushing some color variation in their textures. the brown is very brown, maybe try adding some more reddish-brown low-lights, and yellow-brown highlights. add some blue in the metal texture, and really make the thing POP! fantastic work tho -

In general, it's best to get permission, especially for well-known characters and those from especially litigious companies. Some companies - such as Blizzard - encourage fan art, as long as it's clearly identified as such, and many of the talented concept artists on DeviantArt are willing to let people create models based… -

It seems that these companies (square, sega and more) usually shut down larger projects. They can't pursue all the fan-art made so they don't bother. Some companies even encourage you to do fanart(Blizzard). To the OP: I think you'll be fine if you credit the original artist and don't make money off it. -

Perhaps, you`ve been victim of the Blizzard contest frenzy Concepting the `form` before the `detail` is the correct procedure, so keep at that. Also native american + sci-fi is potentially very cool, I`d say push more of it into the sci-fi, bring more in with the details, and maybe mix it up some more with another culture. -
