I used to do the same way back in the day when most of my texturing was done in photoshop. But there was a solution about 15 years ago that solved the issue with pngs and photoshop, and somehow just migrated to use png as a default. Since a lot of texture outputs happen from other programs like substance, I've just not…
I'd move your demo reel to a seperate sections and have a very simple front page. Take Clinton Crumplers site for example: http://www.clintoncrumpler.com/ As soon as they open your website they should be able to see all your work and who you are. That's part of world building yes. But to be perfectly honest, as someone who is just getting into env art, you will need to build a portfolio of assets that were done by you. A world builder also needs to know the ins and outs of terrain generation within an engine. Also creating tileable terrain textures will be a must.…

Graduation thesis and other stuff got in the way, not the best excuse but it's something, lol. So, here's me finally kicking procrastination out the window and putting together stuff to share with you people! Big…
It could be for any number of reasons. Sometimes it's just a matter of a project being completed, sunset or just scaled back. Hopefully everyone lands on their feet. I doubt it's a nail in any coffin. FPS's and MMO's are still way too popular to die any time soon, which means devs will still want to combine them.
