Need help with shoreline-waves
Hey guys, i'm working on my portfolio at the moment, and one of my scenes is a tropical island. I made water based on a tutorial I found, but it looks horrible where it meets land. Maya question: Hotkey for cycling through bevel options like fragment or segments?
I've seen many timelapse sessions on youtube where people are beveling edges and interactively cycling through the fragment or segments to get the desired result. I know by default when you bevel, the In-View Editor for Bevel pops up and Fragment is already highlighted and you use the middle mouse button to drag the width… -

Saw it a second time this weekend. I definitely didn't like it AS much the second time through--but I still had a blast. But a few things I casually dismissed the first viewing stuck out way more to me on viewing two; namely some of the more contrived plot issues and some really overwrought music in (non-action) places.… -

Also, UE4 auto-detects the normal map and keeps it linear, so srgb will be disabled on import (which is what you want for data maps. For the roughness/metal/ao you will have to do this manually and set them to linear colour(provided they are packed)I advise packing these 3 maps into 3 separate channels of a single texture.… -

Nothing is wrong actually with making it the way you suggested. It's one of the basic tricks with texturing that is in use since very beginning.
