Hmm. I always have plenty of time in Bloody Palace. I've never had the time run out. When I play with Nero I'm constantly trying to get the Exceed bonus with my attacks. I mapped it to R2 so it's a little easier on the hands. I always press R2 after the first attack. Then launch in the air. Then the downward strike move… -

Wow, this is great work, I'm not too kean on the compositing/lighting though. I'm not a lighting artist or know anything about compositing, so I can't be too helpful except to say that the lighting doesn't do anything for all the amazing modeling you've done on this guy. And your material properties don't reflect… -

The physics are terrible, especially the ragdoll stuff. I guess you can thank PhysX for that. I think Epic would be better off writing their own physics engine. I can't stand the blood. Such great art in the game and then you have extremely 'cartoony' blood effects. Epic pulls off the illusion that you're destroying things… -

Looking slick, dude. I personally would have loved to have seen a lot more pink in there to fake a bit of SSS, just to give it a bit more of a creepier feel and to help push the loose skin a little more and giving it that translucent feel. The head is my favourite bit about the whole piece, especially in the first shot… -

Max render to texture problem
Hey guys I am trying to render a custom mental ray fast sss material to a texture map, is it possible? I have been able to render a regular standard material with a diffuse and whatnot applied to it. But when I moved on to trying the mental ray skin shader material it renders out the image and I can see a flattened version… -
