This isn't DOA, I promise. My concept drawings are just way too bad to post. I've modelled his Noh mask mostly, will post soon. In the meantime, have a flower. Drawn in Flash, will be used for his tattoos. Will be altered and stamped all over his body. -
Re: straight lines in zbrush
Touch the surface and then hold shift to draw straight lines with your current pen just like Photoshop. If you want to draw at an odd angle first draw out a transpose line and then click the white circle at the end to align the screen to the transpose line. Or open the lazy mouse menu and turn on lazy mouse, backtrack,… -

It is realllly bad in ArtRage, it zips/drags the cursor to the lower right, and choosing color in the color wheel is next to impossible. I've only had click-accuracy issues thus far in the corners (menus, quitting programs). Haven't tried drawing in photoshop @ the corners yet tho! -

Over the next few weeks I will be focusing on character development. I want to create a God Of Fire. (or something hot looking :P) I drew up 20 silhouettes. Then i picked number 14 as the one i would draw up a color concept!!! -

Looks pretty damn good. My eyes are drawn to he breast as they almost seem to lift off the canvas, er, screen. You should try to draw the focus back to her face, try to bring out her eyes, windows to the soul you know. -

about 30 minutes or so... started with a line then a nose then the mouth chin happened so i drew another nose... anyway this is not what i set out to draw but you know art happens. anyway the anatomy sucks and my lighting is all wonky too -

Yeah I agree with you on that Gav. I only have 2 right now. One is from when I played college baseball and was a pitcher. I got a baseball on my inner forearm with flames coming off it. I throw heat so it was something I drew up and was original. My second one I drew up a design for a dragon with smoke in the background… -

I agree with this is Victoria above. scene is too noisy, and has an undefined focal point. - there are no shapes helping to draw your eye to the focal point - no contrast in lighting or contrast in colour/etc that help push you to the focal point - there is foliage everywhere and no variation or breakup.
