I tried replicating your problem. In the 'Render Settings' dropdown, make sure it's set to whatever renderer you want to use (most likely 3dsmax.scanline.no.advanced) instead of being blank.
I click on symmetric pattern on one sleeve and mirrored copy doesn't attached to the rest of the body-covering part. I'm trying to replicate all steps on youtube guide, but in the video this problem doesn't exist https://youtu.be/Dr90IaHSA54?t=62

Very well done, it near perfectly replicates the style of borderlands. Only gripe is that it doesn't carry some of the humor in it. Everything else was very well done.
you've replicated the uncharted look so good that without reading the title i thought you were an Artist at Naughty Dog and This was actually an Uncharted Environment
