Mapped out the main colour schemes in 3D-Coat. Grey will be chrome later when I get around to painting it. Also thinking of muting the colours. Possibly swapping them for pale blue and grey. Have been very busy lately so hopefully get to work on this more tomorrow.
@CybranM Thnx! Right now all the cloth panels are using the same 4k texture. Might downsize this later to a 2k if needed. I've had to deal with a lot of extreme optimization at work lately so decided to go all out on this one and not care too much about texture resolution. :#
I've been getting my desktops here lately: http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/index.php?w=1680&h=1050&sort=ratings&id=&page=1 They're available in 10 resolutions, including PSP-sized. They're all pretty high quality images. There are about 650 or so.
Mop, i had the design for the cest plate before ror did, so it would more like he got it from me... Why the white lines, i started to do it at the start and just kept doing it to too many parts so now its too late to change.
Thank you for the kind words! She's from Warcraft. I may probably pick Baldurs Gate 3 some time soon too since I love RPGs. Oh that. Yeah I get what you mean and it makes sense. Kinda a Warcraft trademark I guess, big bulky armor and swords. A ranger that's supposed to be stealthy and quick wearing plate heavy plate…
Hiya just posting for a friend his account didn't get activated.... Andy :- "www.clark3d.com Please crit this 7,500 poly character i've modeled. I spent all week modelling the high poly version to get the normal maps. I'll update when I've started texturing." Cheers
Scudz: Thanks mate, this was for the game. I definitely see what your saying about the sash. could probably make a better attempt to hide that its not actually hollow. Snader: Because I was tweaking the spec on the eyes late last night and went overboard. Hehe thanks ill tone that down.
a wimpy update been so busy with work lately I havent had a chance to touch this at all.... but played with lighting, got rid of the DOF except during the moon explosion added in some nicer "glowy ambient" lights (light balls?) And played with distance fog some (Will upload a video later)
I am looking forward to a sequel. I caught the boondock saints fever in middle school and it was out on VHS by then so I was a little late coming into it. I think 9 years later and here I am. I never thought I would see the day the sequel came out.
With Autodesk pulling the plug on Softimage I was wondering if the Mod Tool is still good to use with Win10 and Unity engine. Could I still use it for commercial stuff given that the software is not officially dead?
