Why such a high tri count and low rez texture? and by 4x do you mean normal, spec ,diffuse, emissions? I wouldn't list it like that, just a 1024 and 256.

Been working on this lately, up to a point where i think the sculpt is at a decent level, so now time to bring into Max and retopo. He is a huge character, standing around 2.7 metres high, and has a rock type infection that is slow taking over his body. Any comments crits appreciated!

We've only been at Adobe for a year! :D I assume we're talking about Substance Painter? Substance Designer lets you choose between float and 0-255 for picking colors. That being said, revamping the color palette in both tools is on the roadmap!
