Thanks ;) the texture is pretty big for this one 1024 x 1024, I think as a test it's ok what would you recommend doing it at? 512 x 512? 891 tris, pretty sure I could get it down a bit especially on those thorns.
There was no normal mapping on human characters faces. 'aint nuthin going on here but a photo slapped on a model: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/halflife2/screens.html?page=297 The fisherman from Lost Coast looks way nicer than the stuff I saw in game.

Hello, This is my first post on Polycount. My personal work is usually done in high-poly characters. This character is 997 tris, with 2 512x512 maps (diffuse and alpha). back from vacation... time some updates 899 tris, 1024x1024 diffuse, normals, specs. this is all screencapped from the 3ds max viewport with xoliul shader materials and some post processing in the viewport

Why TGA? I made the movie in After effects and saved as an Avi , I just needed to add sound , music and some other mixmatch of videos in premiere but it keeps altering the original output ... Those are my settings ... http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/8987/20951634.jpg
I've just uploaded the v0.2.1 with path tracing support ( diffuse, reflective, refractive, fresnel, mesh lights ) and other enhacements. Btw, the new FW 257.21 seems to be broken. Better stay with the 197.XX. thx.
