Hi, Just started learning 3ds Max. Quick question. I deleted some edges and didn't realize that I had to hold control while removing them to get rid of the vertices also. How do I clean up the mesh? Screw going in and deleting a load of vertices individually... Also: I need to know how to do this without scripts thanks.
Hello! Does anyone know of a mel script (or a maya 2012 function) that can generate a railroad along a curve? I have to create many railroads in a work project and any help i can get would be greatly appreciated. Right now i extrude two boxes along a b-curve and manually fill in the tracks.. takes forever and is not as…
Hey guys, I have been working on this Topologyprojection script as a school project and thought it might come in handy for some of you. So what it does is enable you to project a flat shape onto a 3d surface check out the video for the features [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MB71JECpjRM&fmt=22[/ame] DOWNLOAD special…
there's nothing stopping you building a blueprint utility/ python script to handle the import. eg - an exporter from max/maya/whatever collects the exported assets into a csv, imports them as static meshes. converts the csv to a datatable and constructs a blueprint/ I've done this recently - its pretty straightforward once…
Where I work I use a mix of these -UV tools https://hqdetails.com/shop/uvtools -Tex tools http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/textools-toolbox-for-the-texture-artist -An internally developed uv tool UV tools is pretty good but it is 20$. At home I just use maya its default UV tools are great. =)
Bake to Texture doesn't support all the vray render elements I want (e.g. cryptomatte) I was hoping to get around this with scripts, I've seen it is possible and some people have managed to bake vray maps not included in the Bake to Texture options: render:#bakeselected crashes 3DSMAX when using Vray however. Even if I…
I will definitely be following this thread as i'm not super confident with Niagara myself yet and i find it really difficult to find good learning sources. Personally i'm really interested in learning Niagara script but i don't think i've ever found a decent source to learn from. Anyway, best of luck to you on your Niagara…
After you install goz from zbrush close it. copy GoZBrushFromMaya.mel to C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2018\plug-ins From C:\Users\Public\Pixologic\GoZApps\Maya also Copy userSetup.mel to C:\Users\username\Documents\maya\2018\scripts from C:\Users\Public\Pixologic\GoZApps\Maya https://www.artstation.com/cordova5252
Thanks snader but you know this is indie project so how come we can have "very high production quality"? I admit it is not the best original idea as a premise and for the demo we focused very much to get the ai done in unreal script and get the weapons & tools working. From now on, I'd need to expand the team.
http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/ghosttown-lite use this... and replace their textures with yours... the video sux, (just get past that) but it builds whole cities in like 5 sec. Not too familuar with it, or if you have to buy it etc. I just remembered seeing it some where, and thought it might solve your problem.…
