Nice design so far. My functional brain is kicking in. Even though this is a fictional vehicle and how it works really doesn't matter. I think it needs forward thrust as well as downward. Heres what I mean. Just a thought.
Yeah I'm currently working on some more foliage to paint on the closer cliff formations as well as powering up the color varation more :) I definitely need to take a pass on the lighting as well as make a proper skybox. I will setup some vertex paint funstions fot the rocks and the cliff to add some more variation as well.…
Awesome, passerby, I'm glad the material can help you out. As for the flamethrower, you'll just have to see ;) but it won't be a real life one. As with all of our weapons we aim to suit the characters so everything is fictional, but functional, that is really the idea.
de_cbble Thanks mate , for the detail I looked at all the transformers film for part and structure reference and decided that the best way to approach it was to build it up in layers. start with the exo skeleton , then panelling which acts as the muscle layer and finally then the armour. I also decide early on that design…
Hello everyone! I have this project which includes utilizing vertex colors to drive the shaders I have in unreal. My current solution is to use Maya to apply vertex colors and import the mesh to the engine. My problem though is I hate having to go back and forth from Maya and UE to adjust colors. I feel like this can be…

Originally I planned for three rooms, but after stepping back and asking myself “does this space really serve a purpose?”, the smallest room didn’t justify its existence. Removing it helped…
maybe if they make the aliens as destructable as the environments it could be interesting but honestly Im still playing red faction guerilla and its so much fun doin stupid stuff.
Has anyone else seen this movie? Will Farrel definitely kicked ass in this one IMO. If you're looking for a typical Will Farrell comedy, this isn't it. It was pretty damn emotional towards the end, and my girlfriend and the other women we were with began crying. I liked it a lot.
Looking for: game animator Project: you'll be working to bring the world of rotting circuits to life. A apocalyptic environment. Build, craft, gather survivers and survive ever changing environmental challenges, enemy factions that fight dynamicly for control over the open world space. Length of project: worked on for 9…
@A_B Sorry for taking so long to respond. If haven't messed with this in some time because I was doing other things. As far as purely getting better vertex painting results (minus everything else I did here) there's this video which walks you through everything pretty well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPHnxGb6KHA That…
