Have you baked a normal map from a high poly model? I mean you got literally no edges coming through on a majority of parts, especially on the rails. Switcher seems to work for the quick I need to use max for this job and then I'm back to maya, PHEW... But for long term use it just puts off the painful learning curve until later. It makes max specific tutorials hard to follow and is a bit buggy from what I hear. This chart helps figure out whats what in each app.… -

With your current portfolio and skills, I would probably not apply to studios just yet. Bluntly, you need to unlearn some of the stuff you've learned doing arch-viz, start from the beginning, and humbly so.
