Right, Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure why I didn't think of using a slave skeleton before. http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=88&t=1095282
here is my start, on my mexican character i know i lacks character at the moment but its only an early start this about 5 hours worth of sculpting and posing heres how the skeleton sits
@Mark Dygert : Not enough loops, no problem ! No transfer needed, it just works. And even with the whole model (body and head) assigned to a skeleton and animated. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rw3flNlRAg4&feature=youtu.be
Looks very solid. but keep in mind that since Dota 2 is very popular in China, you should be careful when submitting items based mainly on bones/skeletons, since it is censored content there
Crap, is this that movie the was made 2 years ago, that was made to look like a crappy b-movie. The title is far too long to remember, I think it had something to do with a lost skeleton.
I will be using either trueSpace or anim8or. Depending on my ability to create a proper pipeline with either. tS has a [ame= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QGlziBKG1k]prebuilt biped skeleton.[/ame]
I personally think its way to wide to enjoy any of the details. Adam is right on the cropping, like right were the skeleton is at would be good place to cut. Nice work none the less.
I always recommend Advanced Skeleton: http://www.animationstudios.com.au/ It is free for non-commercial use and very flexible. I find it to be also pretty stable considering what it does.
