there are code libraries that will optimize vertex/triangle order internally, and can also generate for long strips. It is too hard for an artist (human being) to predict all the "vertex splits" and still manage to make a optimal mesh, leave that to algorithms, as whargoul suggested. It could benefit from a bit more color, it reads more like slate than metal to me. The scratches are very furry along the bottom, and with that much paint taken off that area, there would probably be more direction to them. It's important to think about why/how something got scratched and scuffed instead of just doing it… -

You see thats out of stock? The biggest drawback other than the battery life and carting that large around is really it still is shitty resolution. In example you can find laptops (see some of my links) to 15.6 with full HD resolution. Thats 1680x1050! But other than that. Its sporting an I3. Which IMO you can do better… -
