The caustics one is not too different, it's also a FX map with the bricks shape (with random luminosity). Then I warp it by a blurred version of itself, then subtract it from a blurred version of itself again: The animation can be achieved making the luminosity of each brick oscilate. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a swap happening, since that kind of detail would be wasted on the gameplay camera. That said, you could do something similar even just using a tileable brick texture - map it to a plane, then cut out individual brick meshes and place them at the corners where you'll see the silhouette. -

The ice in the glass has no transparency, doesnt look like ice. The brickswall looks very low quality. The mirror is maybe okay but the brick reflection kills every interest, maybe windows with a street or a neon sign but the bricks are very plain. cholden, am I missing something? how are you going to map the UVs onto the texture sheet and make them only tile one section of it? for instance, if he puts bricks in a little 256x section of the texture sheet like you're suggesting, how does he make bricks tile across the whole wall?
