I feel the same way, guys. but AMD's new chips aren't coming out until 2008. That's a loooooong time to wait I think I'll defineatly be building a Conroe system here shortly
very awesome textures. too bad theres no normal mapping, but it could be done on the wii. I found an article that proves it http://revoeyes.blogspot.com/2008/07/conduit-does-full-scene-normal-mapping.html
http://audionewsroom.blogspot.com/2008/05/howard-scarr-sound-scientist.html That's an interview with a sound designer on the soundtrack. Which means he programs synths, basically. Only interesting for those who are into synthesis, I suppose!
in maya 2008 only spot have shadowing select one, use shadowmap at 2048 resolution and in "lighting" menu select "shadows", you are free to use it on high quality rendering or only in normal viewport.
Hey I was wondering if anyone had any tutorials or if anyone could just help me with quick renders. Im using maya 2008. Ive been working on my modelling, but the default lighting with black background are just HORRIBLE renders... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Stefan Lipsius
i'm using maya 2008. for some reason all my models where fine a couple days ago, but now all the sudden every file i import or open is flipped on its side by -90 degrees in the x channel this is fixable, but what a pain in the ass when everything was fine yesterday.
Hey guys just updated my portfolio, ill be posting my stuff here. More coming soon SLUG GUNNER SVW-001 Made with 3D Max, Substance Painter, Marmoset 2, and Photoshop Turntable: https://youtu.be/z3Di-M1jBTs Reference Apologies for so many images
Thanks for that, for the micronoise I could use something like "white noise" or "blue noise" in Substance with a higher scale in the roughness. For the metalness side, would you recommend a very subtle amount such as 0.8(with full metalness being 1) on that layer?
