For sculpting I recommend any of Zack Petroc's DVDs, but specifically this one for Male anatomy - http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/store/product/361/Digital-Sculpting%3A-The-Human-Anatomy
This sounds like it should be on general discussion. check out gnomon. Zack Petroc has useful tuts. You'll get more help on this in General Discussion though.
I'm a Senior in high school and I was wondering if anybody knows of some 3D animation related scholarships? I have done research but man they are scarce. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated! Thanks, Zack Dembinski
@Zack Maxwell, how do you do retopo and/or basic block modeling? You use zmodeler? And you are using Houdini more for setting up environments in a procedural way, right?
The idea to have a tutorial review system is a brilliant one Zack. There's so much content nowadays ranging from absolutely terrible to outstanding that some sort of guide is highly desirable.
Freaking LOVE your work. Looking really good, keep inspiring ;) Would maybe put all your tabs and or resume link at bottom of the page to, just a thought. - Zack
preferences > tablet Also, turn up Z Intensity if your stroke isn't strong enough (main UI, it's a slider near zadd/ zsub buttons, below the Render menu
@Zack Maxwell Loose the silhouette by accident ? You can convert from Voxels to Surface enabling one to increase the resolution or export to Mudbox / zBrush if desired. Honestly 3D Coat is quite powerful.
Hi, one thing could be to press RGB which is near the Zadd and Zsub in the top to brush you would normally have to go to Brush ->Samples and uncheck Spotlight Projection hopefully this helps.
