Hello, I am a Maya user and installed only a few plugins as a material manager ond some scripts like extended select similar. Is there a professional maya user? Please tell me what plugins you use? Thank you in advance.
A more refined blockout and I've slightly extended the room. I'll probably be sticking to these 2 shots for my final renders. Next up I will be working on getting a good lighting pass, as well as working on the wall materials.
Wow, amazing stuff! I think the brows on your head sculpt extend a bit to high and it's affecting the forehead a bit too much. Btw I really love the expression on your Batman character!
I was retopo-ing in 3D Coat for years, but I've been swayed by Quad Draw in Maya. Doing everything in one tool (inserting loops, relax, extend) with a few different hotkeys is so fast and easy.
well i took it as have you been taught any 3d which no never, if we extend it to art then yes.... my Mum taught me not to shit my pants (mostly) where does it stop
If the messer is a two handed weapon, I would consider extending that handle further, right now he is grabbing just the pommel of the weapon, which looks funny. Other than that, it's great work so far!
I don't see any connecting edges on the high for the indents, so I assume they are floaters. In that case I guess the normals could be inverted or the cage doesn't extend outwards enough to capture them in the bake.
What makes & models? Types of vehicles? Full-size, mid-sized, compact, LiteTrailerLoad, Semi's, Trucks, Trucks with extended cabs? Taxi's in NY?!? OMF that could be an interesting number. Those guys haul ass.
For the brush above the door that has the issues, try just making a rectangle w/ 4 verts and extend it above the ceiling. Yes, you'll have some wasted BSP outside the room, but it should light better.
Heres a shity paintover, sorry i dont have much time to go more in depth. for #1 extending that curve down for #2 just consider changing that area up a bit, making it more interesting
