I hate Michigan!!!
Ok, yesterday wasn't too bad, temp was in the 30's and it was clear out. Today we get a FUCKING BLIZZARD! ARRRGGGHHHHHH!!!! We have about 5-6 inches of snow already and they say it's going to get worse. It looks more like January here instead of November. Anyways, just had to vent. -

FX for Game
Is there any resources where i can find for FX tutorials about games? You know creating, fire,smoke,explosion, etc. I want to learn how to create FX close that Blizzard use in World of Warcraft. I've heard about plugins like krakatoa, Fume,AfterBurn. -
Dwarf Paladin
I always thought Blizzard did a fantastic job with the tier 2 armor sets in WoW especially Judgement. I thought it would be cool to re-create it with PBR and a higher poly count. A dwarf was of course the natural choice to don the legendary set. I hope I did it justice. Total tri count: 80k… -

Really like the severe canvas dimensions you went with. The second one sorta has an oil rig look to it. I imagine the blizzard outside against the din of machinery inside would give the player a nice sense of place, or nearness to the boundary of the two. -

Yea.. its just restructuring and them being maybe acquired by some other people? So maybe we'll see Acti-Blizzard-THQ. I hope they turn it around... that would be awesome. Plus there's a lot of good work being made by their studios.
