The early years: I started out creating levels for Doom2 using an editor I found on a shareware CD. Later when Duke Nukem 3d was released I did load of Levels for that. Always experimenting and trying to push things a step further with the given stuff. I did countless level for that all lost on old HDDs I'll probably never…
try to make something controversial the simple solution therfore is to make naked females. then more people here will write stuff... (but to be honest some people on polycount are so afraid of naked figures and will write hatefull comments that I wonder why they are working in the art field in general) the fur could need…

USD - Houdini to UE4, now onto testing Maya/Blender/3DSmax/Nuke and so on.....back soon with updates :) We have been testing the USD pipeline, we really hope to role it out this year across all the software. It is working well across Houdini to UE4. We have an issue with Maya's preview material which is destroying the UV's…

The problem here seems to be that you're using the internet to search for nude male models. :p This is the internet we're talking about. The INTERNET. lol But seriously, there are some really good books out there that have lots of male and female nude photos. I can't think of any names atm, but if you check out a good art…
I changed from Mac to PC two years ago and had the same concerns. Most of my software is multi platform (Modo, Substance, Mari, Nuke) so I could just download it for the appropriate platform. For Zbrush I was told to find a person who wanted to swap from PC to Mac and then Pixolgic would handle the transfer of the licences…
those dips are showing up because your cage / reference mesh is too low poly. when you process your normal map, meshsmooth your low poly mesh 2 or 4 times (the reference mesh to the highpoly). That way, you wont get as many of those funny "dips" you got in your normal map. You can either nuke those meshsmooths or just take…
Isn't there a saying that your portfolio is only as strong as your weakest piece? Some old art still holds up today, like I still nerd out about Slipgate's Dominance War IV winning entry NOX and that was made about 13-14 years ago yet it holds up to work being done today. You don't have to completely "trash" and "nuke" old…
damnit. i forgot. i remember 'High quality' rendering..... and that you've gotta manually link up the normal map, but how in the shit do you get it to work/what do you link it to again? ugh i forget! yay for my brain. and searching 2d/3d for "maya," and "normal maps" is like searching google for "hot nude chicks" to find…
