Maya Environment Variables
Is there a way to have a shortcut that launches Maya in another language? I constantly switch between Japanese and English and modifying environment variables is a PITA. Autodesk website link -

Pixologic does have history of going down development dead ends but they are no where near as bad as Autodesk. Well not yet anyway. -

It's a 3dsmax tool, there is no logic. It's just the BS you have to work around with an Autodesk product, just like the workarounds everyone mentioned. -

The difference predates Autodesk's acquisition of Maya. Smoothing groups even predate 3ds Max, it was used in the DOS predecessor 3D Studio. -
