Just going back to the graphic card debate, on the German website I'm using (alternate.de)the Radeon HD 7870 is going for €179 and the Radeon HD 7850 for €149. I don't know if the radeon are good/bad but the HD 7870 has a passmark of 4,059, so I'm thinking it's good value.... ans saves me 100 over the 660ti
You have the blue channel set to a constant value (127 or 128 ), so in the areas pointing zero red and zero green, it appears blue. The reason why is because you're dealing with a 3d vector that's flat in the depth plane, and because normals get expanded from 0..255 to -1..1. So the halfway point (127.5) is zero.
Using dDo 1.8 /w Uncalibrated 8bit I get the correct result if I go from the second colour ID (So only the three colours defined by the preset) to the third with new id's using the re-importer, but I get incorrect results if I start a new project with the third colour ID (with new colours not in the preset).
Good news for you: xNormal comes with a 174 page manual, and what you are looking for is on the page 60 of the PDF, located at something like C:\Program Files\Santiago Orgaz\xNormal\3.11.0\docs But really, it just comes down to checking the "generate ambient occlussion" checkbox under Normal Map tab - you probably don't…
I get this all the time. It varies from model to model but it always happens to me when my AO samples were set too high. My latest character didn't like the samples set at 128 so toning it down to 96 worked. Lame IMO because I'd like to set everything to 256 if I could.
KDR: your A64 3000+ runs at 1.8 Stock I believe Vass:the whole point behind AMD's naming system is to show the equivilent Intel processor. In general, a 3200+ is "equal" to about a 3 ghz Intel proc. The game runs great on my FX-55/6600GT/GB Dual Channel 2-2-2-10 RAM.
Agreed with notman, but its not so difficult to stick a notebook HDD into a desktop, you might just need to get an adapter( http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=HD-108&cat=HDD )... 5 bucks, meh... Just note that a lot of the time they are pre-set to Master because as notman said, most laptops only take 1 hdd.
He guys, So I made this little robot from a concept. In total this robot has 4712 triangles. Its a little high poly but when making this robot I knew he would be seen up close. Hey all, I've been searching and searching and I have no idea how to make a simple 80s, 80-column/25-line LCD screen in UE4. I am new to UI/video effect shaders in Unreal and don't know where to start. Here is an example. (though it doesn't have to be EXACTLY like this, just something similar) Start at 2:50 if it doesn't…
