I think the way shortcut keys work is pretty broken in Max. Toggle override seems to sometimes need to be on, sometimes not, and I just wish I could use the same shortcuts regardless of whether I'm in Editable Poly, Edit Poly, Unwrap UV or any other similar modifier, especially selecting loops and rings, welding and… -

Yep Jhotun's spot on, Max's Layers (well, in max7 anyway) are very nice. SouL, try the Selection Floater instead of Select By Name - look in Tools -> Selection Floater. Designer Filter to Painter. Exposed bool parameter appear as integer selector. Why?
So this is how it looks like in Designer: Switch is set to "Side-by-side button". Designer Preview section also looks correct. But as soon as I import this to Painter that bool variable for some reason appear as integer selector instead of expected 2 buttons -
