Hey guys, I just start a new project 2 weeks ago and I decide to share with you my progress. I will integrete it into Unreal 4 soon to have an idea of the ambiance I want. Here is the Blocking - Update of 25/11/2015 - C&C are Welcome ! Thx :)
Spent about 20-25 hours on this on and off, used Substance Designer for the materials. Tried using as few textures and materials as possible, meshes all modular too. Rendered in UE4. check it out @ https://www.artstation.com/artwork/WrX5v Any feedback always appreciated! Based on this concept by Atomhawk Design: Any…
Hello Polycounters - I'm just getting off the ground with Zbrush. I've been using it off and on for a couple of years, but only recently started to feel comfortable. I've been (poorly) drawing this alien since childhood. After 25 years I finally have the tools to make a respectful image. What do you think?
Are you saying scrap the entire model and redo the modeling as well? Or just the textures? Because the model I have looks exactly like the model in your reference, and I've used ~25 reference images. I was pretty confident in the accuracy of the gun I had (pun sort of intended).
For the sake of completeness, if you somehow decide that you'd rather be making 2D games, here are a couple of beginner friendly engines: Yoyo Games - Game Maker (Pro version is going from $25 up to $40 at the end of the month) Scirra Construct EDIT: Stencyl - Make flash games.
Hey all, here are some of the latest updates for 10/25. I have a new pose in, with some additional base cloth objects and accessories. I'm going to get started on sculpting the cloth now, but I'm still open to any C&C. Thanks for the comments so far! :)
You do know that Audiobooks go on MP3 players? You can pick up a usb pen style mp3 player for about 25 quid, the same price as a modest CD player. That aside, I used a sony discman for several years it never let me down.
Very nice! only thing i can see is that you didn't make a copy of the diffuse and ps filter it into a normal map and over lay it slightly (15-25%)onto the rock normal map. This way all the diffuse little bumps give little bits of interest to the rock.
I'm on mission 14 out of 20 with 25 hours logged. Hell yea. The enemies (bosses included) look good and they are fun to fight, which is most important. The scythe guy's you mentioned were the enemies in the demo I assume? If so they are one of many types of enemies in the game.
