If this is a FPV weapon, 2k is about right. For brink the guns were 1x2k, + 2-4 extra 512's depending on customization. 2k is fairly common for a PC game, console would probably be 1K.
512 faces / 1005 tri. Still have a lot of optimisation to do. So far I've unwrapped 1 window panel and a column. More updates to come, just not tomorrow. I'm going fishing! =)

Audigy 2 ZS bitches, best card evar... But for a budget, i'd recommend another Live card or a SB PCI 512 model. If you are REALLY poor, go with the SB PCI 128 model.
actualy what i was wondering was how do the specs compare to other tablets... a4 512 preasure levels 24 micro cels 0.42 pen accuracy Is this bad or good or what!? Cheers Jody
Bungie, I think they use whatever size works. But they're really special case. 512 + 256 = 768 not that odd really. I could see how someone might think that's a standard size.
both have 512 levels of presure; just different aspect ratio. 4x5 graphire vs 3.6x5.8 for the bamboo. Can't find stats for graphire's report rate; the page hangs on load for some reason.
I keep hearing people say to export all textures at 4k and downscale them in engine. Does this apply to things that I know will be using smaller textures like 256 or 512? Seems so many 4k textures will keep adding to project file size.
Dat's amazang. <3 the models. jus out of curiosity, What texture res are you using for environment textures? i'm learning to use ce3 as well, and i'm not sure whether to start with 512 or 1024, or go cray with 2048.
riznof : those texture resolutions are the PC texture resolutions. Every texture of the game (except the diffuses maps) have been downsized by 4 for the Xbox360 and the PS3 versions (ie : a 512² on PC became a 256² on previous gen consoles)
