@Taylor Hood: It might possibly be a hardware issue. Do you have access to another video card you can swap out to test with? How are your temperatures? are you overclocking that card and/or PC?
Haha I'm glad you like the swan! I'm planning to fix my materials before using them as a base for the final texture so I'll take another look at the wood, thanks for the suggestion.
Man, I cant believe the stag set isnt in the game yet. its my favorite furion set. good job on that one. I am really looking forward to see that dinosaur flying. ^^
Thanks for the replys so far guys. I definitely agree with you on the floor, using some vertex blending might be a nice idea, as is the sewage pit. As for the textures, ill keep that in mind. Cheers for the feedback :)
Look in the plug-in thread. There's a link to one called ornatrix or something like that. I tried it, it works, give it a shot. There's also Shag Hair for Max. I'm lazy so you have to google it yourself.
update v.0.5 download link: TexRipper_0.5.air changes:* quick rotate with the left and right arrow keys: swaps the points of the slice in cw or ccw order. * Texture size overlay for each bitmap
Hey Polycounters, I'm working on a new tool to generate procedural feather textures (PBR) on Substance Designer, here are some samples (textures mapped on a plane, rendered with iRay) I have done with it, hope you'll like them! These are Swan and Blue Jay feathers.
Just punching out a sculpt of Brad in ZB using some features to swap and pose all data between max and zb. More of a tech test.. But I hope to finish this one off when I stop messing around. :)
So... now that I finally have an actual cube of my own (to go along with the actual job ), I need to get some proper shwag and goodies to adorn it. What sites do you guys go to for goodies and whatnot?
Finalising the clothing. Just the hair and hat left to model. Been swapping between maya and zbrush as I'm not going to be doing bakes. Zbrush is mostly for making sure the shapes are clean.
