thanks man. i put some more hours into this. found out that i'm under half the polycount than what is listed for FF15 :) screw it, time to put some more strands into this then... in the current version shadowcasting is a bit messed up since i changed approach, it ruins the hairline but is a quick fix i'll hold off on till… -

Hey Jorge, another two suggestions to fill your list.. ;-) - a ffd-like tool for quickly mashing shells into the form you'd like (without having to fool around with peel mode) - ability to use the SG-from-Shells function without having to add an Unwrap modifier to the model first (from a quad menu, for instance) ..better… -

Looking pretty good. If I had to crit something I would say there are a lot of straight lines and tight right angles. Nothing says poor and ramshackle like a little FFD and fudged up lines. If you're going to build a city, start thinking about working modular...… -

By 72 hours do you mean three days (including eating, sleeping, etc), or do you mean 72 actual working hours. Because 72 hours workhours is too much - that's about 2 workweeks. And like Mordin said, it doesn't look 'damaged'. It looks old and dirty, sure, but it's sharp as new. A quick fix would be yo just move around some… -

This and You could build yourself a library of noses, ears, eyelids & lips, then you can position them around a skull (free online or block it out yourself). Finished the low, sitting at 7074 tris with everything mirrored/instanced. Currently only have test bake done and applied, baked at 1024.
