DireWolf: yup, the coins always felt a bit off, they are based on a Blizzard concept as well, but because of the size of the details they might not be working too well in this scene. Thanks for pointing out that material issue as well. Back to work then :)

[ QUOTE ] Verm: you do know you're gonna get one right? [/ QUOTE ] Blizzard is currently working on Diablo 3? I had no idea, certainly hadn't read anything about it. Wow, very cool!
cause your texture is terrible, and your planes are aranged poorly look around hte forums at other tree models, someones doin a blizzard diamond mine model wiht a tree, theres also many others
don't listento that, you're heading for a great direction, this is like telling blizzard to do more phototexturing >_< grunge and photosource might be the easiest way to increase detail but it's also only the cheapest when you go for a specific style.
its probably too late for any major changes, but anyway.. two images on the left is from Blizzard. while swords there is differ from each other, their overall proportions are the same. and do not match with your model proportions.
that happened to me too! now i need to find 20 bear pelts, like in some blizzard rpg. i need this because i need to talk to someone in the fighters guild for a mission, but they all shun me.
Brad is at Riot now? He didn't stay long at Blizzard... Either way, I've been loving everything I see for this web series. Brad use to post all the concept stuff. Great job keeping the same style. Absolutely beautiful.
My work from 2012 here might also help elucidate some tinier texturing things I learned. http://polycount.com/discussion/113859/erasam-emberhart-obese-blood-elf-engineer-blizzard-student-art-contest-2012-charac
